Ruth’s Chris Steak House isn’t new to South Florida, where it already had four locations, but it is new to Aventura.
Famous for its steaks served on 500-degree sizzling plates, Ruth’s Chris recently opened its fifth area outpost, a 6,962-square-foot restaurant at 2980 NE 207th St. It also boasts a luxurious bar with ample seating and a variety of high tops, a spacious outdoor patio and two private dining rooms for celebrations or business meetings.
As part of the pre-opening celebration, the restaurant hosted a special dinner with community leaders, business owners and Ruth’s Chris executives, while raising money for its local charity partner, Feeding South Florida.
Feeding South Florida is the region’s leading domestic hunger-relief organization and serves 25% of the state’s food insecure population – people experiencing hunger or who are unable to afford to adequately feed themselves or their families. The food bank, benefitting the residents of Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, distributed nearly 176 million pounds of food (146 million meals) last year to more than 1.4 million individuals.
The restaurant’s pre-opening event gifted the charity with a much-needed $10,000 check.
“We are thrilled to be bringing this new Ruth’s Chris location to Aventura and serving the community and those that live in and around the area,” said Leo Carrasquillo, the restaurant’s general manager.
While Ruth’s Chris’ USDA Prime steaks and their signature sizzle may have put the restaurant on the map, guests can also enjoy fresh seafood, scratch-made side dishes and desserts, craft cocktails and choice wines.
The restaurant group was founded by Ruth Fertel more than 55 years ago in New Orleans and has grown to more than 150 locations.
